07.07.16 – Channeling universal stream of consciousness
What would drive a human to kill another human? It is outside of our nature to attack our own. What is at play here, at the core, is the belief that we are separate and distinct from one another. This is our current paradigm of social conditioning. There is “I” and there is “You.” There is “Us” and there is “Them.” In this dualistic way of slicing up our experience, we create the illusion of separation. This illusion fuels the ego and its judgments and fears and the corresponding quest for power, dominance, and retribution. The cycle never ends. Until…
We cease to fuel the machine of fear, judgment, hate, blame, and condemnation. This begins with each of us. How many times do we use the words, “should, should not, must, always, never, have to, etc.”? Consider each time we use these phrases, whether in relation to ourselves or others, we are coming from a place of judgment, a place of separation.
It is time for us to transcend this entrenched way of re-acting. We must now respond with deeper questions that uplift our consciousness and redefine the enculturated boundaries between us. Think beyond the individual to the CULT-ure and the systems and structures that create power imbalances. Be fueled, not blinded by your outrage and anger. The uprising for conscious change is in motion.
